Cleanup day and Spring Quarterly Meeting, Huge Success!

Wow, We had a great cleanup day and likely more than 80 people at the quarterly meeting. I suppose we should invite the NSF to buy lunch more often.

Quarterly Dues
Everyone should have received a statement and an invoice to cover your dues from April 1st to July 1st. Please pay this by the 1st when it is due. Next week this block will include the names and amounts (if any) owed to the club. Don't expect everyone else to carry you. Some of you are beginning to get too heavy. It would be great if this section were blank.
Quickbooks as of last night

PRO Seminar
The seminar discussed at the quarterly meeting will be held next Friday, April 5th at the clubhouse from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm. As promised we will have some beer and wine. Feel free to bring an appetizer to share. We would appreciate your signing up so that we know how many people to expect. Here is the signup sheet: /racing/pro-seminar  You can also sign up on the HIYC website under the racing tab. Thanks Drew!

O L Shultz Open Regatta Weekend - April 13-14

O L Shultz Cruiser Regatta Weekend - April 27-28

April 13th and 14th, HIYC is hosting the 2019 O L Schultz Alive Hospice Open Regatta.  This regatta and the events surrounding it create awareness and raise funds for Alive Hospice.  Hospice Regattas are National events and you can find out more information here,

Dinghy sailors for the Y-Flyer class and Vanguard 15 class will be traveling to Nashville for the event from around the country.  One of the unique traditions that HIYC carries on is hosting traveling sailors aboard members' cruising boars at the club.  The nights that the boats will be used are Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th.  It not only saves money for these sailors, but creates an atmosphere of hospitality and togetherness, a perfect representation of what this event is about!

Any HIYC club members that are willing to support this cause are asked to contact Ray Marley or Anthony Passafiume to coordinate and match visitors with hosts
