Sea Scouts Ship 851
Sea Scouting is a part of the Venturing program with the Boy Scouts of America. It is a Co-Ed program for youth ages 14-20.
Sea Scout Ship 851 is sponsored by Harbor Island Yacht Club in Old Hickory Tennessee. Additional support is provided by Hermitage United Methodist Church.
During the school year Sea Scout Ship 851 meets at 6:30 PM on Thursday evenings at Harbor Island Yacht Club. Among other things, training sessions are conducted and weekend activities are planned at these meetings.
During the summer months the Ship meets at 6:00 PM on Thursday evenings. An evening sail often follows a short meeting.
